TaskHelper.uk is operated by HomeTrip Ltd trading as TaskHelper, a company registered in England and Wales.

2. Definitions

"Platform" refers to the TaskHelper.uk website and services.
"Client" refers to a user who posts tasks seeking assistance.
"Tasker" refers to a user who offers services and bids on tasks.
"Platform Fee" refers to the 10% fee paid by the Client, and the 5% commission deducted from the Tasker's earnings.

3. How the Platform Works

TaskHelper.uk is a marketplace that connects Clients with Taskers. We facilitate the connection and payment process but are not a party to the agreement between Client and Tasker.

A Client posts a task describing the work needed and a budget.
Taskers browse tasks and place bids with their proposed price.
The Client reviews bids and accepts one.
The Client pays a 10% Platform Fee to confirm the booking.
The Tasker completes the work and marks the task as complete.
The Client confirms completion. The platform deducts 5% as the Tasker's commission. The Tasker receives 95% of the bid amount.

4. Fees & Payments

All prices on the Platform are displayed in British Pounds (GBP / £).

The Client pays a 10% Platform Fee upon accepting a bid. This is non-refundable unless the dispute resolution process determines otherwise.
The Tasker pays a 5% commission, which is deducted from the final payment after task completion.
After task completion, the platform deducts 5% (Tasker's commission) and the Tasker receives 95% of the bid amount.
All payments are processed securely via Stripe.

5. User Obligations

By using the Platform, you agree to:

Provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
Not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
Treat all other users with respect and professionalism.
Not attempt to circumvent the Platform's payment system.
Comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations.

6. Limitation of Liability

TaskHelper.uk acts solely as an intermediary. We do not guarantee the quality of work performed by Taskers, nor do we guarantee that Clients will make timely payments. Our liability is limited to the fees collected by the Platform.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or receives repeated complaints from other users.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
